Air quality is undoubtedly a priority for such a high profile site. As such, Onyx has become the preferred ventilation maintenance supplier at the Natural History Museum. Onyx’s responsibilities include deep cleaning and sanitising every one of the 115 AHUs and associated ductwork to TR19 standards.
To demonstrate if an AHU or ductwork is not compliant, Onyx conducts a Ventilation Hygiene Risk Assessment, which objectively determines through swab tests and photographic evidence if a unit is acceptable according to TR19.
Every clean is accompanied with a condition report, which briefly outlines the current status of a unit and recommendations to improve unit performance.
Due to the success of our AHU and ductwork deep cleans, site management entrusted Onyx to also clean the LEV system. This demonstrates the confidence the Museum has in Onyx to ensure that the thousands of visitors enjoy clean air for the duration of their stay at the Museum
